Half my coworkers are perimenopausal, some have radical hysterectomies. We're all on estrogen (even me~). We talked about premarin and I mentioned the scythian cult-thing that drank pregnant mare's urine like 4000 years ago, they thought it was cool. Rural women
I'm surprised how common being on E is for cis women, wouldn't have expected that (not that I ever looked into cis women's Healthcare)
The contraceptive pill is literally estrogen and progesterone. Just at a different dose to HRT.
In the middle to late 20th century Trans women would have cis friends get it for that purpose from their doctors and give it to them.
Or if they were stealth enough get it it from multiple doctors.
The package insert from my E doesnβt even mention trans women at all, same with my prog. HRT is completely cis focused.
HRT main users remain cis people, men and women. Ive even given puberty blockers to (presumably cis, but they probably havent had a chance to think about it) kids with precosious puberty. None of the stuff we do is rare, except for bottom surgery. Plenty of cis women and men get laser hair removal or electrolysis. Plenty of people get on spiro or cypro or whatever. Plenty of kids get put on blockers until they're ready for regular puberty. Plenty of cis women and men get facial plastic surgery.
