The situation is more nuanced than that. The children are young Thanos, Voldemort, The Joker, and Stalins. They're from the multiverse. The bombs are a patronus used by Captain America and Israeli Batman. If we don't stop them then they will use the infinity hallows to end the rules based order.
I know some kids that are already experiencing Jokerfication, and I don't blame them considering the world they're about to grow up in.
