You keep saying that which is ironically quite a childish position.

Russia - Ukraine: what's there to understand? A strong being evil to a weak.

Israel - Palestine: Listen honey there's ten thousand years of history you need to learn before you talk about this

[–] LeninsBeard@hexbear.net 34 points 1 year ago (4 children)

They always hide behind how "complex and nuanced" the situation is while proving themselves to be unable to grasp the nuance of something being complex historically but simple morally.

[–] Kynuck97@hexbear.net 21 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

Keeping it complex in their head probably helps to rationalize an evil thing as being "Cool and Good" to support. How can it be genocide if its viewed as being too nuanced to fully understand?

[–] invalidusernamelol@hexbear.net 13 points 1 year ago

There's really a lot of nuance in the libenstraum plan. The untermench are allowed fair chance to prove their bloodlines and their suffering is minimized while they're allowed to labor in our state of the art labor camps. We can't allow them back into the general population because they've become thirsty for violent revenge which makes them savages that need to be kept in camps.

If only they'd stop being so anti German and accept their position and stop resisting.

[–] invalidusernamelol@hexbear.net 20 points 1 year ago

Ah yes, carpet bombing one of the most densely populated regions in the world with an average age of 18 is morally ambiguous because those children are directly responsible for migrations made by their great grandparents who are now dead because of the last round of carpet bombing.

[–] Quaxamilliom@hexbear.net 17 points 1 year ago (1 children)

tbf It is a complex issue for them, because they want to be able to openly support genociding brown people, but also want to look like the victim in all this.

every time it's because they haven't actually done any research

I mean seriously get into conversation with them and watch how fast they run out of things to say once you mention anything that happened before 2020... They have severe historical amnesia. That is what it means be a liberal.

“Not wanting to bomb children is, ironically, a childish position. What are your coordinates btw?”

[–] zifnab25@hexbear.net 56 points 1 year ago (4 children)

You keep calling them children, but all I see are Military Age Males.

[–] mayo_cider@hexbear.net 44 points 1 year ago

Fuck I hate this, every male refugee over the age of 10 is just an adult male pretending to be a child and so obviously doesn't deserve to get to safety, and if they are killed, they deserved it because they were obviously military age

Even if it was true, even military aged males deserve to live and be safe, you murderous ghouls

[–] ArsenLupin@hexbear.net 35 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You keep calling them children, but all I see is future middle aged terrorist.

[–] OrionsMask@hexbear.net 19 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Let's never question what actions might lead them to grow up to be "terrorists" though! Brown babies are just born evil.

[–] ArsenLupin@hexbear.net 14 points 1 year ago

WTH are you talking about? Nothing ever justifies becoming a terrorist, you will shut up and get exterminated in silence. That's the only moral and honorable way of life!

Thank goodness we have adults in the room that understand that some children (brown) deserve to be bombed.

You clearly haven't considered the complex nuances of mass murdering babies

You see, these babies were brown

[–] Philosoraptor@hexbear.net 45 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yet another entry for the "it's immature and naive to ever even attempt to solve a difficult problem" file.

[–] UlyssesT@hexbear.net 14 points 1 year ago

Just like in the soypoint-1 South Parkerinos! soypoint-2

[–] privatized_sun@hexbear.net 44 points 1 year ago (6 children)

link because I'm not a lib https://old.reddit.com/r/worldnews/comments/17g2x9q/israel_says_it_will_ban_un_staff_after_secretary/k6gcsi5/

Murdering children is an interesting loaded term, as it implies the intent is to kill the children. It isn't, so grow up. Children die because hamas hides among them.

*Israel kills them

So if you want to blame anyone, blame hamas. If you have a better suggestion for how to kill hamas, without collateral damage, or needlessly endangering IDF personal, please feel free to offer it.

Hamas is exploiting the children in our prison colony by also being in the prison with them, that's EVIL, they should simply buy a home somewhere else and move like I did

[–] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 53 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Children die because hamas hides among them.

When a bank robber hides among customer hostages, the correct tactic is to blow up the entire building

[–] BodyBySisyphus@hexbear.net 41 points 1 year ago

Wild how "well of course we have to shoot the hostages" has become the standard talking point.

[–] FanonFan@hexbear.net 16 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly suffering from Stockholm syndrome

The complexity is that yes bombing children is bad but have you considered that we really want there to be a glorified military base in the middle east

[–] UlyssesT@hexbear.net 38 points 1 year ago (3 children)

You don't like thing that benefits me? You are a simpleton, a dullard, because you do not want that which benefits me, the Main Character. Sometimes the Adults In The Room have to Make The Hard Decisions and Get Shit Done. smuglord

the Adults In The Room have to Make The Hard Decisions and Get Shit Done.

Really struck gold with that one

[–] PoY@lemmygrad.ml 10 points 1 year ago

Damn you really boiled it down to the very essence. Impressive.

[–] betelgeuse@hexbear.net 37 points 1 year ago (2 children)

The situation is more nuanced than that. The children are young Thanos, Voldemort, The Joker, and Stalins. They're from the multiverse. The bombs are a patronus used by Captain America and Israeli Batman. If we don't stop them then they will use the infinity hallows to end the rules based order.

"You idiot rubes don't understand the high IQ move of killing civilians...thus bringing more people to join Hamas."

They don't believe in bad tactics, they believe in bad targets. Since Israel is a lapdog to US interests, grillman has gone from blaming the Jews for everything to putting them as honorary whites for the time being.

Your ironic position

"Stop Bombing Children"

Situation is complex!

[–] Utter_Karate@hexbear.net 26 points 1 year ago

Cool. Cool. But have you considered that you should maybe shove the tube of a vacuum cleaner all the way down your throat and then turn the vacuum cleaner on? Unless you want to prove yourself completely oblivious to the complexity of the situation.

[–] iridaniotter@hexbear.net 25 points 1 year ago

The ones who bar the exits from Omelas.

[–] PoY@lemmygrad.ml 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It's always such a nuanced situation when the side you're rooting for is committing atrocities, especially when they admit and proclaim them. The mental gymnastics have got to be akin to a running jump onto a trampoline and then straight into a wall where thought just stops. There really isn't any argument that can be made in support of massacring a captive population that is entirely at your mercy just for daily survival.

Someone said on twitter that Israel can no longer refer to "The Holocaust", but now only "a holocaust".

It's only complicated if you partake in the mental gymnastics zionists demand you do. If you refuse to, it's simple.

bombing children is complex, actually
u r childish

sounds like a threat

Reminds me of Kamala Harris mocking the words "build more schools, less prisons". It's the same smug, neoliberal affect
