Wild how "well of course we have to shoot the hostages" has become the standard talking point.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly suffering from Stockholm syndrome
This has been said before, but the term Stockholm Syndrome comes from a psychologist not understanding why the hostages correctly identified the behavior of the police as needlessly escalating the danger of the hostage situation.
