I’m probably coping but is it feasible trump would be slightly less hawkish compared to Biden? Not that I want trump to win or intend on voting for him lol just wondering because I genuinely don’t know
Trump is more inclined to agree with pretty people and less inclined to agree with uggos. I literally do not think it runs deeper than that. If a himbo told him to support a ceasefire he would highly consider it. If a himbo told him to invade Turkey to reconquer Constantinople, he would highly consider it.
I do wonder what would happen to the Libs if he were elected and immediately called for a ceasefire for some arbitrary reason like a hot person told him to lmao
Just look at their reactions to when he met with Kim Jong Un
He assassinated the general of Iran in January of 2020. If it weren't for COVID, there's a reasonable chance he would have tried to invade. If he's less hawkish than Joe, it's by an incredibly small margin
So much has happened since then i actually forgot about Soleimani lol. 2020 was fucking crazy
He was less hawkish on Syria, Russia and DPRK
He was more hawkish on Iran, China and Cuba
Seems like a bit of a wash on Israel
On the subject of Palestine? Probably not. I was trying to play this out in my head earlier and I feel like the only way he'd be less hawkish is if he thought Netnyahu was cucking him or something by ignoring his authority. I feel like that would be hilariously easy to manipulate tho such that he see's shit like the ICJ as being what's actually holding both of them back. End of the day I reject the notion that Trump or anyone could be materially worse on this than Biden is and believe things would be basically identical....BUT I do think Trump would be more mask off about it certainly.
On that subject....him being mask off is kinda equal pro and con I think. Like the bad is obvious buuuuuut Trump would further expose sham of it all. That's no reason to cheer for a Trump victory but I don't know...its something maybe.
At least Trump got the libs to give a shit, Biden does all the same things and they defend him for it. It's like that "Hello, Human Resources??" comic.
