doing voice training so i can sound like a girl if i wanted to then choosing not to
voice training is stressful, good job
(i haven't actually tried yet but i keep telling myself that i'll do it soon. should be more easy now that i don't have to be closested from the people i live with and i don't have to worry about getting outed like that)
You are now in a great environment to do so for sure. Just be sure to start it and keep at it and it will be very rewarding at the end of it all.
yeah this is the nice part now: i can do the trans girl stuff and my roommates already know/understand :)
I'm trying to do voice training too. Where are you doing it just curious? I was gonna try Trans Academy lessons since I was already checking out their youtube videos when I was "cisgender" and "just curious about this stuff". They seem good from what I've seen but I'm pretty new to all this.
Some mix of winging it and Trans Academy voice lessons was my plan. I don't plan on being out for a while so idk? Maybe I'll get a professional voice therapist one day? Maybe I'll just keep my voice as it is now forever? who knows at this point
If you ever decide to go to the Trans Academy voice classes and need some company, myself and another friend were planning on going to the next one. We figure it would be little less scary going with people you know already. I'm also probably going to go to the events there this weekend.
