Manly YouTuber ♂️: Hey guys, in this video I'm gonna show you how to get the CLOSEST shave that's gonna leave you BABY smooth. For the best results, we're gonna use a straight razor. That's right, there's no substitute for BLADE on SKIN. We're gonna shave our face the same way we CUT our STEAKS, with a big KNIFE. So, if you're ready to enter the world of MANLY shaving, drop that cartridge razor and keep watching.
The trans girl watching:
lmfao, I ended up getting into cleaning old soviet straight razors (cheaper than the Sheffield ones but also good steel) and foisting them on all my friends/family. As well as getting quite competent at sharpening blades due to trans shaving needs. Legit though, they're waaaaay faster even for just legs and stuff plus if you can splurge for a stainless one basically 20 minutes maintenance once a month or so.
I thought about picking one up, but I was put off by the learning curve and the blade maintenance.
I ended up just using a safety razor
this is me also. i went on aliexpress and found a safety razor with 6 blades, it feels like it's scraping the bone and leaves me real smooth without a care
Sheesh, they make safety razors with that many blades? Do you have to change them out? You have a pic? That sounds nuts.
I read more blades just means more irritation
Here you go
there was a small learning curve, since it's so wide and if you're used to a smaller head you can accidentally do some sideways cuts which bleed like a motherfucker, but it hasnt really irritated my skin more unless i do way too many passes and dont lotion immediately afterwards, anyway.
