Yeah Musk's endorsement also makes sense as for why it would be a negative for Trump. The vast majority of Musk diehards (edgy young men) are voting Republican, the Republicans need to appeal to other groups of people to win. Same with regards to Swift's audience also already majority voting Democrat, and needing to appeal to other groups of people to win.
I know from personal experience and decades of living around Silicon Valley that a lot of E~L~O~N diehards are aging gen-x junior boomers that peaked in the 90s and still think South Park is amazing.
