We're talking like a whole liter of whiskey. Drunk enough to have visions. Drunk enough to have that weird kinda clarity. I'm embarrassed and ashamed. But at the same time I'm glad I did it. I thought maybe I'd die, and I was cool with that, but I didn't. I guess I'm just a tough bastard like that. Sorry if my posts were kinda weird I was drunker than a French lord on bastille day. I really do love this community. There is a kindness here that I don't find anywhere else. That's the reason I feel safe admitting I've been drunk for like 30 hours. So I'm hydrating and taking b vitamins and also an allergy med cuz I know my body is gonna try to cough out this poison and I'll choke on the phlegm. Not my first rodeo.

A whole liter? I'm gonna assume that was spread out over a significant period of time instead of being quaffed in one go.

I made that mistake once with spiced rum, now I can't stand the scent of the stuff, and the taste will make me want to barf as hard as I did when I chugged jugged it in a go.

The first time I got drunk it was on apricot brandy when I was in high school. For a long time I avoided apricots. After decades past - I could drink brandy. But there's no way in hell I'm ever drinking a tiny sip of apricot brandy.

I'm sorta there with being able to get away with light tastes of much lighter rums but I still stay away from the stuff like I stay away from fermented spicy snow crab

weirdly I always have this after drinking semi-heavily. After waking up but before the headache has fully set in.

Comrade, I hope this is extremely rare, like once a decade or or even lifetime. Assuming it's 80 proof, that's around 22 drinks. You gave yourself alcohol poisoning and well... that's really not good for you. We have plenty reason to use alcohol and other substances, things aren't great. But that's a fuck ton, even if you're a big dude. Please moderate yourself, alcoholism is something that is developed, not something that simply pops up over night.

I honestly think there's something valuable for being very drunk every now and then. Usually I try to follow the rules of the inebriati, but sometimes you just got to toe the blackout line

Drink water comrade, stay away from that poison for a bit, and then I hope to someday run into you in a bar.
