Limestone is a common type of sedimentary rock which I find uncommonly interesting! It's mostly calcium carbonate, which is also what eggshells π₯, seashells π, and pearls π¦ͺ are made out of.
In places where it rains a lot, limestone erodes easily, which results in simply gorgeous landscapes such as:

Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park in Madagascar
The Li River in China
Additionally, the world's longest (Mammoth) and deepest (~~Veryovkina~~ Krubera is once again the world's deepest cave, thank you to SockOlm for pointing that out) cave systems are both found in limestone formations

I'm not from the UK so I'm trying to not be too ridiculous over this. But it sounds really bad and I worry. I'm scared and I hate this. The US is following the UK's lead as far as I can tell too. And a lot of what people say on the topic strikes me as cope. Can't blame them but it doesn't help me.So unfair. All I want now a days is to be (seen as/feel like) a woman and I don't know when I will feel like that will happen. And for some people in my life they probably never will. Why do people continue this circle of suffering. I do not understand. I would kill myself if I forced a child to suffer like this. Maybe other people are less bothered by suffering? :::
Many people are, and apparently they're "normal". When i was diagnosed as Neuro-divergent i was told i had trouble with "hyperempathy". "Affective empathy" are increasingly shown to be connected to autism etc. Apparently while NT people experience cognitive empathy, it's not the same. Learning this fact about-faced me on "wishing i was normal", cuz while it hurts, hurts real bad to feel other people's pain like it's mine, i wouldn't give my ability to feel my friends joy for anything. Really helped me feel better about being ND.
In fact, far from feeling "broken", I've come round to thinking more it's the NTs that are kinda effed. Sounds like a muffled way to go thru life to me. If not being able to literally feel other people's pain is what it means to be "NT"? I'd rather not be "normal"
