This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

At least Iceland is too small and insignificant to have any real sway. Id say they're better for that reason

It's barely a social democracy. The Labour party sold out the country to NATO and Norway has had mostly right wing parties in charge for over a decade.

Social services are being cut and privatised like it was going out of style and the energy corporations are currently destroying indigenous Sami lands to build dubious wind mill projects.

From what I understand, the energy companies take the path of least resistance, which means that they also plow through indigenous lands "over there", when they feel there's a greater chance of getting away with it "over there" compared to local indigenous lands.

Seriously, I haven't met a single Norwegian who knew about Pilmaiken before I mentioned it to thon! I myself wasn't aware of Pilmaiken until I got a message about it from a friend from Occupied Palestine, who themself heard it from an indigenous Tumblr blog based in the United Occupation Zones of America!
