Nazis fuck off!
It's the most infuriating thing about the genre. It's one of the only genres of music that helps my mental health because the anger and fierce riffs calm me down and then I find out one of the band members is a nazi. And suddenly I'm right back to being mad and uncomfortable.

Norway had one of the strongest support for its nazi puppet government, along with the dutch and french, they joined SS volunteer units in high proportions. However making former occupation forces clear up landmines they put in should be like at the bottom when whining about Norway (especially as an norwegian lol).

They've got a lot to be legitimately proud of in WW2. Another good example is their sabotage of nazi heavy-water production. That significantly set back nazi research into nuclear weapons.
I'm imagining a Norwegian guy sitting on the sides watching them run through the minefield, casually eating an apple, completely undisturbed when Nazis blow up mines and die or get maimed. That made up guy would be cool.

After WWII German POWs were forced to clear minefields and to walk through them after they had cleared them, to make sure they were really clear. Hundreds died or were maimed.

Quite a few mines in Ukraine right now, after the war what's left of Azov should be used for this.
TBH, people who were made to do it were mostly conscripts, actual Nazis got cushy jobs in NATO and FRG instead.

In terms of nordic countries actions during WW2, Norway's probably the least "evil"
Eeeh, lots of Norwegians volunteered in the Hirden, or local chapters of the SS and went to fight on the East front.
The holocaust collaborators in the police force kept their positions and some of them kept working through the 60s or 70s.
Lots of Jewish people and communist sympathizers were killed or enslaved. For example, lots of roads that are still used today were built by slaves from the death camps.
And if anyone's wondering why the norwegian Jewish death tolls were relatively small, it's because Norway didn't have a lot of Jewish people in the first place, as Jewish people had been forbidden to live in Norway since the 1800s.
Norway is a bloodsoaked imperialist country and a bootlicking vassal of the American empire.
It is the sixth largest producer of weapons for the imperialist powers and is guilty of participating in the monstrous bombings of middle Eastern civilians in the service of Yankee interests.
