This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

I think you're right. They don't know how a debate works, they just see their favourite grifter tell them the magic words to say to win every debate and follow them to the letter. Of course, it works because people get sick of dealing with them and stop talking to them, which they take as a "victory."
