Obviously these people dont give a shit about Palestinians or else they'd have different priorities. So there's no point actually trying to debate them because they aren't being honest. This is exactly who you want to interrogate those excuses with -- they're 90% of the way there already. "I don't know, man, supporting an ongoing genocide is my red line" seems like a good approach for folks like this.
