One time I took a bus up to another nearby city and when I presented my ID the guy made an angry face and said "you look young!"

I get carded and I'm in my 40s
my dad had to have surgery when i was 3 months into HRT (still boymoding) and when the surgeon came out to talk to me afterwards he thought i was 18 (i was in my late 20's)
Why do people do that? Just want some form of relationship with you? (assuming you are in your 30s?)
HRT gives you the uncanny ability to look shockingly young. A lot of trans people I know are significantly older than me but don't look any older
