Expert sources familiar with the matter report that it is theoretically possible for China to be, "a big stinky doo doo head".

Write a headline, refute it in the tagline

[–] TheModerateTankie@hexbear.net 27 points 5 hours ago

shrug-outta-hecks Not sure who's reporting it, but it's being reported somewhere according to someone... possibly.

What I hate about puke like this is that so many people won't read past the headline, then they'll go and say to others "hey, did you hear about the blackouts in China? What a hellhole of a country!"

"Reportedly" doesn't mean shit. Who "reported" it? I am reportedly a very handsome, intelligent, and talented man. Source: My mum.

Disinformation and inaccuracies can quickly snowball to the point of large numbers of people believing something that isn't even true. The news media distorts the truth with impunity and it's fucked up.

I wonder if blackouts in the west are ever considered newsworthy in China.

The power was out at my place last year for a couple of days while they did roadworks for the entrance to somebougie apartment, does that count?

What about when an indovidual smashes their car into power infrastructure and the whole suburb goes dark?

Oh and remember when some fasciat yank was busy trying to take out their local power grid?

Maybe theyre so overwhelmed by choice it doesnt get covered at all, that'd happen to me. I wish I could take anything seriously.

Still better sourcing than this, your mom knows you're handsome and intelligent. They just made up a fake mom

Headline: CHINA NUKED!

Body Text: Okay, well, not actually, but could you imagine if it did?
