We are not being strategic. A fairly senile president that gives accidentally honest answers is an absolute opportunity for any left movement.

Get him to spill all the beans on everything. Black site locations. Best military bases to hit in the event of nuclear war. How fucked Europe is under the current US strategy. Naked hatred for every single Chinese person. Remind him of school bussing and he will probably take you right back to 70s Strom Thurmond. Fish for the various congressperson crimes he definitely knows about. Get him to insult every Democrat in their "bench", thin as it is. Especially Buttigief, lmao. Ask him why Buttigieg isn't fixing Boeing.

Such a goldmine. Get in there, nerds. Demand "the discourse".

maybe. the former Ukraine Internal Affairs Minister and Prosecutor General said in January that Ukraine had sustained 500k casualties. western media is all over the place ofc, some outlets say 500k is actually the number of Russian casualties, some say 500k is the total number of casualties on both sides. we wont have any solid numbers until well after the conflict ends

Also, "casualties" refers to wounded, missing, and captured as well as killed, so who knows what "losses" refer to

I've seen projects that count the confirmed KIA by name from social media commemorations,. and they arrive at like Russian 72k KIA, 68k Ukranian KIA. Russia does not have a 10:1 casualty rate.

Edit: I don't know why we shouldn't accept the named KIA projects as being an effective lower-bound estimate of those killed. if we accept around 70,000 Russians have died, and assume that there are significantly more russian non-KIA casualties than KIA, then not even the Russian MOD is claiming numbers that would be 10:1. Does the Slava Rossiya crew on Hexbear think there are over 2 million Ukranian casualties? in Febuary, Russia said 444,000 Ukranians killed and wounded.

Ukraine has been getting slowly pushed back
Ukraine's counteroffensive failed

Abandoning a position because you can't hold it usually involves lots of deaths. Similarly, moving on a position but getting pushed back seems like it would aldo be pretty costly.

I'm skeptical of 10:1, but I'm also skeptical of 1:1.
