As a cishet guy... abortions absolutely affect men too. The inability of your gf/wife to terminate pregnancy early forces both of you and the future child to now contend with a worse fate brought on by right wing politicians that could be solved in most cases. Not to mention on the flip side, if you intended to have a child and your partner is facing complications that could kill them yeah that affects them/your potential child, but it also affects the father in this case.
I could make a similar argument for why misogyny also should matter even to cishet men, but, kinda redundant.
The argument she's making only applies to right wingers who actively support the oppression of women. If you're not some psychotic demon and do believe women have the right to control their own bodies including ending a pregnancy if they feel (or a doctor convinces them using evidence) it's necessary or the best option... then this argument doesn't really work. You're already supporting the person or party that agrees with that stance.
The problem she's encountering here is the total inability for right wing liberals, who just happen to barely not be total full Christian fascists, are deluded into thinking Biden can win this- HE CANNOT. Their best argument, their absolute best case scenario, shows Biden/Trump being like 48 Biden 52 Trump in a head to head, no other choice thing. THAT MEANS HE FUCKING LOSES. I think this idea comes straight from Biden, he's never been a particularly clever guy and people suffering from dementia/alzheimers often get paranoid and aggressive. I think he's probably harbored a hate for Obama because he's always been more popular, more competent, etc, and now it's coming out.
Also I don't really doubt Clooney and other DNC boosters/donors/officials would reach out to Obama, the guy who told Biden not to run in 2016 and 2020, to make sure they have his blessing. No orchestration really involved, just reaching out to the more popular, wiser, and not geriatric de facto "leader" of the party to make sure they're not fucking up by saying what everybody already knows.

One of these guys is going to be on the next season of Survivor which is an unacceptable conflation of two spheres of my existence.
Slightly off topic: if I want to watch Survivor should I just start at season 1 or is there a better point to jump in?
I always advocate for starting from season 1. Its a great cultural time capsule in a lot of ways and has a unique docmentary style to it that becomes less of a thing later on. More character focus, and "the game" hasnt developed yet which makes it different from anything else because "the game" was accepted as part of the experience immediately upon the very next season. And the ways the show evolves is part of the experience. Theres some stuff thats considered not so great television early on (late season 2, most of season 5 with some gems mixed in) but its all basically worth it for the overall experience. Like if I was trying to get someone into the show who was hesitant about it I might have them start with season 7 Pearl Islands (easily the best old school season and imho still the best one overall), season 15 China, or maybe Season 28 Cagayan if I think they'd be interested more in a more modern experience. There's also season 16 Micronesia and season 20 Heroes vs Villians, but those involve returning players so I feel they cant be properly experianced without seeing their previous showings. But those are both also top tier seasons. But if you actually find the basic concept interesting, go ahead and start from the beginning.
