Gotta say. I'm looking at Michigan and seeing him down 1.8% to Trump and all I can think is "Where could you find 1.8% of the vote in Michigan, I wonder?" Ah well. Only real solution is be more bipartisan with Fascists, I guess.

I'll have to grant them this. Biden executing Trump WOULD be insanely funny. Complete spineless garbage his entire presidency, then does the ballsiest move since the assassination of Caesar.

[–] axont@hexbear.net 46 points 9 months ago (1 children)

I want Biden himself to pull the lever on Trump's electric chair. Then he'll say "Looks like you're uh, you're... you know." An aide whispers in Biden's ear. "You're fired, jack"

if he's gonna lose anyway, might as well. the blueMAGA facebook dads commenting that "the Penalty for Treason is DEATH" could be on to something.

I'm sure the comment saying Biden can kill Trump isn't against the reddit terms of service even though saying slaves can kill slaveowners is.

[–] bigboopballs@hexbear.net 36 points 9 months ago (1 children)

I got perma-banned for saying that boomers should hurry up and die already.

[–] Infamousblt@hexbear.net 28 points 9 months ago

Permabanned for saying the actual truth. Smdh

This is what these people think is funny and it sounds exactly like us making fun of them trying to sound funny.

God emperor hunter biden was definitely a bit here

[–] happybadger@hexbear.net 49 points 9 months ago

what if epic grandpa said 'mr trump your fired sir'. maybe that'd get headlines instead of this whole genocide thing for a while.

[–] GrumpigPoopBalls@hexbear.net 48 points 9 months ago

where could you find 1.8% of the vote in Michigan, I wonder?

don't worry, liberals on reddit-logo told me that Arab-Americans are only 2% of voters in Michigan so Biden can afford to alienate them

[–] CyborgMarx@hexbear.net 47 points 9 months ago (6 children)

Am I wrongin thinking we need to leak tapes of Biden calling Trump a sick fuck to boost numbers

lmao why would that move the needle in any direction?

[–] axont@hexbear.net 34 points 9 months ago (1 children)

They think the public perception of Biden is that he's woke incarnate, he's weak, and he's too nice. That's always what liberals think their own problem is, that they're too nice. It's often why Democrats will do a sudden show of force shortly after office. Like Clinton's crime bill or Obama overthrowing Libya

[–] zed_proclaimer@hexbear.net 29 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago) (1 children)

Which is funny because Biden comes off as a total asshole and constantly hostile. Where does this “nice guy Biden” meme come from anyway, the dude has yelled and jabbed his finger and been thrown more insults than any other politician in the US. The dude is constantly yelling at people calling them “fat” and “dog faced pony soldier” and beating his fist on the table calling for more Israeli funding.

When the average Brandon hating American imagines Biden they don’t see a pleasant kind old man. They see a belligerent and senile one.

It would be about as effective as the deplorables stuff.

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 17 points 9 months ago (1 children)

How does it compare to pokemon go to the polls?

[–] beef_curds@hexbear.net 19 points 9 months ago (1 children)

gotta update the reference. Something like "you've heard of Palworld, how about Pal-give-voting-a-whirl?"

But yknow, better

Liberal thought process: HRC lost because she was too civil and appeared weak compared to Trump's incivility. Therefore if ~~Genocide Joe~~ Dark Brandon appears incivil he can achieved 'based status', as the zoomers say, and get votes from the portion of the electorate who only wishes to vote for a strong man who will create good times

“we need to leak tapes of Biden calling Trump a sick fuck”

How about he just says that?? Trumps said much worse proudly and publicly and theyre fantasizing over Biden giving this vanilla ass clap back in private.

[–] zed_proclaimer@hexbear.net 21 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

Also that wouldn’t matter at all and nobody would think it’s cool

“What if we spread a rumor that Biden called Trump a poopyhead and shitlord”

[–] sir_this_is_a_wendys@hexbear.net 14 points 9 months ago

True, but these people are actually that lame.

[–] Lovely_sombrero@hexbear.net 40 points 9 months ago

I just think it is incredibly funny to think that "maybe we need to leak tapes of our presidential candidate saying that his opponent is not a good person" is some wild new election strategy.

[–] NephewAlphaBravo@hexbear.net 40 points 9 months ago (1 children)

heartbreaking doing any of these would be extremely funny and probably more effective than what they're currently doing

New Phenomenon: Liberal-Tankism. When you do Marxism-Leninism but in the name preserving the status quo!

(actually it's just fascism)

[–] TrudeauCastroson@hexbear.net 35 points 9 months ago

I thought liberal tankism is when you support tanks rolling in on parliament to uphold the drunkard you picked to head the state that used to be your ideological enemy.

[–] Raebxeh@hexbear.net 12 points 9 months ago

This one’s got legs. Could be a Hexbearism within a week

[–] EmmaGoldman@hexbear.net 38 points 9 months ago (2 children)

Hold on, let them cook. They want to move the Overton window to "French Revolution," let them normalise political violence for people other than the fascists who are already all doing it all the time. That civility shit is one of the largest stopping blocks for anything cool happening in the imperial core.

"And I do narrowly agree that it would be helpful if people who care deeply about the climate and Palestine would stop criticizing the candidate who is better on their issues and instead criticize his opponent. But there’s very little evidence that “people who would prefer it if Joe Biden were more left-wing” is a large block of people or that defections from this group are a serious problem."

From the article itself lol.

"most likely, I think, a communications strategy that involves a stronger presence of Joe Biden and other members of his administration in the media, delivering messages precision-targeted at crossover voters."

Going after those Trump voters my God this is what radicalized me. Trying the same stupid strategy decade after decade and consistently eating shit.

[–] TheLepidopterists@hexbear.net 25 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

But there’s very little evidence that “people who would prefer it if Joe Biden were more left-wing” is a large block of people or that defections from this group are a serious problem."

51% of 2020 Biden voters think Biden is committing genocide. These people are fucking delusional, and it's their fault we're gonna get another Trump term.

[–] TreadOnMe@hexbear.net 17 points 9 months ago

The problem with going after those voters isn't that you can't sway them, clearly you can, the problem is that anything and anyone can sway them at any time for any random reason because people who switch between Trump and Biden are complete morons who do not operate on normal people calculus.

[–] SwitchyWitchyandBitchy@hexbear.net 33 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Running Hunter is probably the best idea they've had. Not that it's a high bar.

"We" :inigo-montoya:

[–] edge@hexbear.net 32 points 9 months ago

We nominate an heir. All hail president Hunter.

The irony of them saying this when Hillary was handed the 2016 nomination in 2008 when she dropped out, and after she failed Dementia Joe was propped up.

[–] HumanBehaviorByBjork@hexbear.net 28 points 9 months ago

the sad thing is these people are more dedicated to a Biden victory than anyone in the white house, including the guy himself.

[–] PKMKII@hexbear.net 22 points 9 months ago

Hmm, yeah, the standards and norms crowd are suddenly going to break out the guillotine, riiiiiight

These are the adults in the room.

[–] WhatDoYouMeanPodcast@hexbear.net 13 points 9 months ago

are the adults in the room in the room with us right now?

[–] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 18 points 9 months ago

I mean, these are all ideas that I also propose. It’s cute that liberals act like they’re actually willing to do or support any of this. The reality is if they came across a magic wand that would grant all of these things with 0 consequences for liberals, they would instead take the wand to congress and debate on the percentage of wishes that shall be granted to democrats and the percentage granted to republicans.

All of this is just fan fiction because we have seen what they do when they have power.

[–] Drewfro66@lemmygrad.ml 17 points 9 months ago

All hail President Hunter Biden.
