What is a woman? A miserable little pile of secrets. But enough talk, HAVE AT YOU!

Transtlevania

I heard that that line was apparently seen as cringe or silly or something? And that's why it got so popular? Which is weird to me, because I think it goes hard as fuck

[–] AernaLingus@hexbear.net 10 points 3 months ago

I don't think that line in particular is seen as cringe, and it's definitely the most iconic one--it's more about the stark contrast between Richter's wooden acting and Dracula's incredibly hammy delivery ("I was called here by...HUUUUUUmans!") all in service of some pretty cheesy dialogue. I do personally like that line, though!

melon recognises that she’s obsessed to the point of harming his platform

While I heartily agree with your points regarding sex/gender, may I suggest also posting interesting and positive content on other matters?

rock bottom looks like elon musk politely encouraging you to log off for being too openly maladjusted

[–] Hestia@hexbear.net 17 points 3 months ago

Oof, should not have read those comments.

Guess it's just a reminder why I stay away from twitter, literally every single comment was transphobic

[–] Findom_DeLuise@hexbear.net 38 points 3 months ago

Oh there you go, bringing class into it dennis

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 36 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Oh why is it only women that can shop, what can't men? This is a clear example of misandry.

[–] JohnBrownsBussy2@hexbear.net 33 points 3 months ago

Men can shop, but do they be shoppin'? I think not.

[–] WalrusDragonOnABike@lemmy.today 21 points 3 months ago

If shopping, men actually transition into a woman

Source: Fox person Jesse Watters probably

When you reach level 10 in your sex class, you get to select a sex prestige class.

[–] Krem@hexbear.net 18 points 3 months ago

When you're a level 10 Man, and have points in Banter, and also located at least one Legendary Pub, you can take the Geezer class.

An advanced level Man with the Out of Touch trait and points in Anger can become a Cloud Yeller.

[–] flan@hexbear.net 32 points 3 months ago

it's true, women do be shopping.

[–] ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml 31 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Guess women who take birth control aren't real women to terfs either lmao

[–] Flyberius@hexbear.net 11 points 3 months ago

Probably. It would be very on brand for them

[–] save_vs_death@hexbear.net 29 points 3 months ago (2 children)

what the fuck is a "sex class," that wasn't in the player's handbook?!

[–] crime@hexbear.net 19 points 3 months ago

My DM let me dual class, we use a homebrew module for it

[–] context@hexbear.net 13 points 3 months ago (1 children)

there's hundreds of splatbooks, it's got to be in one of those somewhere

[–] fox@hexbear.net 13 points 3 months ago (1 children)

3.5 definitely had a guide to which races can fuck which other races for viable offspring. Dragons can get down with anything with a pulse.

[–] barrbaric@hexbear.net 4 points 3 months ago

Book of Erotic Fantasy IIRC.

[–] Omegamint@hexbear.net 26 points 3 months ago

Just the clip from Train Spotting where the guys and girls are asking each other what they've been talking about and the women say "shoppin'!" And the boys say "football!"

[–] NephewAlphaBravo@hexbear.net 21 points 3 months ago

a miserable pile of secrets

[–] Red_sun_in_the_sky@hexbear.net 19 points 3 months ago (2 children)

I really and mean really despise all these pieces of shit who are experts on "science". Uhhhhhh chromosome mean man and woman. Ummmm gametes are 2 meaning woman and man. Especially the chromosome shit. That's a layer in organization it can't really be thrown to say uhhhh this actually determines phenotype.

Whatever I'm not reading all that trash she wrote, I don't mean the books cause didn't read em either. Maybe one but british writers are obnoxious.

Virginia Woolf catching strays

[–] CantaloupeAss@hexbear.net 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I read Mrs. Dalloway and did not care for it but I recognize that Woolf is a significant figure in the literary canon so I will try To The Lighthouse before really weighing in

I'm a huge fan of literary modernism, and Woolf is a master of it. It's not even that she's my favorite, it's just that she's really good. Some of the finest prose ever written
